fishing spring creek area

This is john and I am trying to catch strip bass, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass around shad that are flipping the top of the water in the spring creek area where there are grass islands. I have tried my zora spook, spinner baits, ruber shad, and ratlletraps. Do you have any ideas on how to catch them? What depths should I fish and what type of baits do I use? Do the shad only flip the water when there is bass around and biting or do they sometimes flip the water out of nature. Thanks and god bless all during this holiday season. Roll Tide Roll!!!
