I live in northern iowa.  We are thinking about coming down and fishing Table rock.  Would like to know when the prespwan for large and small mouth bass begins.  Do we need to have boat inspected prior to launching for any reason?

Water temp is around 42 degrees. Black bass are still deep between 20-30 feet. Pre spawn should begin mid too late March. If your boat is registered in your home state with all applicable decals and registration documents, then you are good to go. No need for an inspection prior to lake use. I live year round on Tablerock lake. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
