We have a 1974-era tri-hull Ranger fiberglass bass boat that we would like to restore (Lake Martin area).  There used to be a forum member, Nancy Christine II, who did such restorations but she hasn't posted in a loonnnng time.  There was also a man in the Lake Jordan area who did things like that, but I haven't seen anything from him on the forum lately either.

Does anyone know of boat restorers within a hunddred mile radius of Lake Martin who might be able to restore the boat?  It will probably involve separating the top and bottom halves and replacing the foam underneath, patching several holes in the hull, replacing the steering (rusted out), tuning the motor, and repainting it all.

Heh, fixing a boat like that must be quite a mission is what I thought of the moment he said that. The same way we see classic cars getting a new lease of life, I find it quite interesting to see boats getting a new look in the picture. Looking at the rods I’d guess that the process of removing the upper and lower sections will be a real chore, but it sure is music to one’s ears to hear such fine-grained restoration efforts.

Heather did some work for me years ago. She was located if I recall beyond Home Depot. This may help...
