Wix, I totally agree with you. Lake Martin is at the bottom of the pencil pushers list. Solution seems easy enough but nobody wants to pay. Really it should be the resonsiblity of our governor and the state. The debris problem is to big and costly to handle on the local government level. The state should step up and handle it. But what are they doing, waiting on the feds like everybody else. Everyone expects the federal government to handle it.

Insurance company's should be handling some of it too. If a debris pile from a home is halfway on shore and half in the water they should pick up the tab. But guess what, they are waiting to pay claims to see what the feds will do to try and keep as much money in their pockets.
