It would be great if others shared the same consideration regarding wakeboarding as you do. My lake house is on a long, but fairly narrow slough with houses on both sides, and it seems that many who use it to wake board like the turbulence they create. One can have their floating water toys(rubber inflatables,"lilly" pads, floating docks, personal water craft, and the like), in the water in front of their homes and many show little concern about the "damage" the wakes can cause. I have literally had my grandkids playing on a lilly pad and the wake tore the rope loose and damaged the corner of the "pad". I have heard others who say they have had their boat tied to anchors on the side of their dock and the wake actually ripped the anchor loose.
