Depending on your OS, if you have a router/switch/hub, you may be able to tranfer directly; if not have you tried a thumbdrive? Look for sales, and those things are cheap. If you have Windows boxes, it is a simple transfer, but sorry, I do NOT use anything Apple, or store my stuff "in the cloud". I have a network drive (NAS) in the storm room at the house that all homegroup computers can access.
