Direct TV with TIVO all the way!!, but if your a beginner.......that works.

FYI...in bham, during IVAN, we lost cable about 10 a.m., lost electricity at 11:00, generator kicked in, and we amazingly had satalite throughout the storm.

Don't know what's different down there, but Direct TV in b'ham has had local channels for years.

Don't mean to hurt your business, but after having both at different times.....I strongly support Direct TV, plus.....if your a bellsouth customer, you can get a discount on your Direct TV bill. up to $10 a month.
