okay, i am a new property owner on the lake, plan to retire there in a couple of years and have started my house, however, i too think you were rude, no just down right stupid to think that everyone that is fortunate enough to live on the lake hates the weekenders. they too have a right to use the lake and not all of them are as you protray them. we have enjoyed this paradise for many years and have met many wonderful people there that do not share your beliefs ( thank god). if you think it is so bad, why don't you just leave? maybe you should find a summer home somewhere isolated! Lake Martin is a great place with wonderful people and you should not be the spokesperson for the rest of the state. if the truth were known,you are probably the first to karaoke, drink beer and wake everyone with your little boat. so just relax and maybe you too can see the beauty in the place you call home.
