I (we) have been coming to the lake for quite some time and have lived here only a short while. Been reading the forum for awhile and a subject finally got my attention enough to comment. "PWC'S".

Most instances I have personally witnessed involve young people who are turned loose on them and have little or no supervision.

Please don't misunderstand my comment as I (we) also have PWC's but they are never used as a babysitter nor are the kids turned loose by themselves. They know how to operate them out on the main lake and there is always an adult with them. Running around in coves or buzzing docks will happen once and they will become a non operator.

I tried talking to a couple of PWC owners in my area but the designator PWC takes on a whole new meaning. "Probably Won't Care"

There, I feel better and I can get back to the serious stuff like fishing. . . .

That's the nice thing about winter, quiet and tranquil.
