I find it interesting that many of you just listened to hearsay rather than going straight to the source. One of you did and set the record straight--there have never been and never will be any attempts to eliminate the au majorettes. I am so thankful that the tuition dollars I am paying are going for improvement and changing with the times! The football and cheerleader uniforms have changed with the times and nobody started rumors of au doing away with them. The au band is bigger and better than ever. I hope it continues to change with the times instead of looking like a retro group on the field. As far as the changes in the pregame show, I find it interesting that I have been observing practically the same type of entrance for 20 years in Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida, and there has never been a complaint.
