I helped launch a small plane (2 man cockpit) from Chuck's Marina last week. They had a fuel leak and Clearwater Marine, LLC, at Chuck's gave them a boat plug, stopped the leak, then we jumped their battery, got them fired up, they buzzed around the gas dock, handed back the battery jumper and off they went.....made flight somewhere after Stillwaters/Harbor Point. The two guys were awesome, and pretty darn brave IMOHO. Couple days later one of them returned and paid for the plug Clearwater provided them. Pretty cool machine they had, albeit experimental. I might think twice before flying something like that so hats off to someone who has the cajones.
