Subject:   Red Mowhawk Canoe LOST 7/4

We lost a red Mowhawk canoe from our dock (near Bay Pine) on the night of July 4th. The storm that went through the Jackson's Gap area had such strong winds that it blew our canoe out into the deep water. Someone was kind enough to tie it to a submerged tree on Farrows Island and it was spotted there by a member of the forum on the 5th. After reading her post we went to look for it yesterday. By the time we knew to look at Farrow's Island it was already gone. We even went back this morning to see if perhaps it had sunk near the shore where it was seen.
Hopefully someone has taken it with the intention of finding who it belongs to. If anyone sees or hears anything about a red Mowhak canoe please let us know. Our children are keeping their fingers crossed that it will find it's way back home. It is the source of lots of lake fun for them.
