I saw an article recently where Alabama Power hydroseeded some of the shoreline at the lake.

I was wondering if anyone knew if this is possible to do around your own waterfront. Has anyone had any experience or know of any "recipes"? We have over 150 ft of gently sloping shoreline that drops off into deep water about 15 ft from shore. Primarily, I would like to grow the plants for fishing fishing but I also can see the benefits of helping with erosion.
Thanks!
