This was posted on another Lake Martin forum, but I think the fishermen here might have something to say:

"Do any of the bigger "name" marinas carry fishing tackle? I know they used to; I kept the Kowaliga Pro Shop in business when I was a kid. But I can't think of the last time I saw rods, reels, lures, etc. for sale in one of our marinas.

Have they stopped selling the stuff? If so, why? Fishing seems to be bigger than ever on the lake, but it appears that the fishermen are being ignored-- or worse-- by our marinas. That seems like an odd thing to do, since they should be one of the larger target markets on the lake."
