I recently read that the three year draught in North Alabama is over. That's good news for the property owners on Smith Lake.

Now that the draught is out of the way for the present, maybe we can enjoy a more reasoanable water level from May through September. I'm hoping that FERC will modify the operating parameters for APC for Smith Lake for 2009 forward that allows this.

Does anyone on the forum have any information as to the status of the permit approval process?
