The answer is Yes, federal employees and retirees are subject to Obama care. -However, different categories will be subject in different ways. -For example, Ike Skelton R-MO congressman submitted a house bill that protects military from some effects of teh bill; the senate has yet to vote. -Retired feds will get new medicare restrictions like everyone else etc. -You can read on the web where congressmen were upset yesterday when they found out that they must abide by the bill, but some of their staffers and whitehouse staffers, who wrote the bill, are exempted. In other words, the writers of teh bill excepted themselves!. -Depending on age, agency, etc different feds will be effected in different ways. -Teh biggest change in teh bill that very few people are talking about yet is the contol that the new 100+ health committees/groups/panels will have on how we now receive healthcare. Each "decree" from these groups will effect different recipients in different ways. -It should be a fun ride for everyone, to include the congressmen who voted for it, to find out just what is in this bill. Hang on!
