-This is unbelievable (see below article) ...not that Holder would believe that teh Arizona law was not to his liking ...not that he would come to this conclusion without even reading the law, ...all that is believable..
-but what is unbelievable to me is that he would go before congress totally unprepared, ...having not even read the bill.
-This is not the first time, rmember when he went before congress about trying battlefield captives in US civilian courts? ..when asked, he admitted he didn't even bother to check to see if there were any precidents for doing so (Law School 101).
-Is Holder dumb? ...I wouldn't think so.
-So why does he do this? ... cuz he doesn't care what congress thinks, ...this administration does pretty much what it wants. First, it tells congrress what the administrtion wants congress to do. If congress doesn't want to do this, then the administration just uses agency reulations to get what they want done. Last year the administration wanted congress to pass certan limits on pollutants. When congress sidetracked the legislation, the EPA sent a note to congress saying the law should be passed, and if it wasn't, then EPA would just set the regulations anyway. congress made no public response to EPA about separation of powers and congressinoal rights.

-Holder's preparation (or lack of preparation) for appearnaces before congress is just another way teh administration says that congress is noe irrelevant; it either rubber stamps the administrations goals or it should just get out of the way.

-Congress since 2000 has just been pitiful!
Here's teh article....
Attorney General Eric Holder Admits To Not Reading Arizona’s Immigration Law

Attorney General Eric Holder is catching fire for admitting that, despite speaking out against it, he has yet to read the Arizona illegal immigration law. During a House Judiciary hearing, Republican Congressman Tom Poe asked Holder about his comments that the federal government might sue Arizona over the law and, more specifically, whether he had read the bill himself. Holder, embarrassingly, muttered that he had skimmed the bill but hadn’t gotten around to reading it.

The “read the bill” debate was pivotal to passing of health care reform, though in that case, the bill was thousands of pages and it was nearly universally recognized that no one had actually read every single page of the bill.

That said, none of the clips Sean Hannity uses to attack Holder in the segment below, showing Holder arguing against the immigration law, show him making definite statements. “It has the possibility of leading to racial profiling;” “I don’t think it’s necessarily a good idea”— both of these are fair statements to make on a bill using only the knowledge of a light perusal and the opinions of those you respect. Where Holder gets into trouble is with his proposal that there might be a federal lawsuit against the law—a very strong threat to make without having actually read the text at hand.
