While I understand that argument I believe that life begins at conception and every child has the right to life.  I have tremendous sympathy for women who find themselves in that situation but in the vast majority of cases it was based on their own decisions.  The child should not suffer for their choices.  If this ruling stands then the issue of abortion being legal returns to where it belongs, the states and the will of the people in that state.  The only way we can get beyond this raging debate is to change the hearts of people about when life begins.  If enough elected officials in a state are for abortion it will be legal in that state.
