I don't recall that. It got to 477 or so in 1977 or '78. I can't remember the exact numbers but I think the top of the dam is 481.
The only reaso I know this useless information is I had a battle with my mortgage company about flood insurance. The elevation of the bottom floor of my house is above the dam is the only way I got out of it.
Someone posted a nice history on the Facebook page a day or 2 ago.
The good news is, once we get through today, things should start improving. Wouldn't be surprised if we're not back at winter level by this time next week.
