No real problem in the Anchor Bay region either. I assumed it was due to the multiple Purple Martin habitats in our neighborhood, but after a little research, I discovered that although the Martin's are voracious insectivores, they feed mostly during the day and at heights where mosquitos are not routinely found during the day. Mosquitos on the other hand are out mainly at night and are found in damp low lying areas during the day. Rarely do they cross paths.....But something is feeding on the mosquito population, I wish I knew what it was.
