This I know. Up river you have the city of Gadsden with a large business community with more political power than us lake people. The corp or Alabama Power will never let the water cause any damage in the Gadsden area but to heck with us. Then down river you have the paper mill, the city of Childersburg, the Alabama Power steam plant at Wilsonville. Now is the picture becoming a little clearer. Others please correct me if I am misinformed on the matter.
