Subject:   Marine Head Question

I have a GalleyMaid head on my 1993 Sumerset houseboat. We have had the typical issues that every pickey marine head has, but now have one that confuses me. When we are docked, or not moving out on the water, the head functions perfectly. However, if we are moving down the lake and someone flushes, the freshwater pump that provides the water to flush loses it's prime and will no longer pump. It is easy to remedy. I remove a plug and pour water in to restore the prime. However it is a pain to move the furniture, open the hatch, crawl under the floor and have someone flush while I pour. We have learned to "hold it" while underway, but lately we have been hosting some larger groups and someone invaribly forgets. Any suggestions to keep the water supplied to the pump?
