Use only synthetic oil. You will pay for it but it will help your top end last the longest.

The crankshaft and pistons are lubricated by the oil that is mixed in your fuel. I can not stress enough how important it is to properly lubricate the crankshaft. In addition, synthetics have greater lubrication properties then conventional. The synthetics tend not to 'carbon up' the exhaust side of the cylinder whereas cheap conventionals will form a hard coating around the exhaust port and the power valve (exhaust valve) and can lead to lock up of the valve and then the cylinder.

The absolute best synthetic PREMIX oil is rated 600 2T on the side of the bottle. Several manufacturers make this grade oil but I recommened MOTUL. If you MIX your own fuel you can go to 800 2T. FYI- Motul 800 2T is $13 per liter.

I sell some of these products at Lakeshore Performance over by Chuck's but you can get them at most shops. (Adam's Motorsports or Montgomery Honda/Yamaha sells them.)
