big boats, that generally sit either at the dock or in a slough somewhere minding their own business-- Anybody who belives this to be true is ignorant beyond belief.

Anyone who thinks passing a law to ban big boats...is going to make the lake better is an idiot.-- But not nearly as big an idiot as the S.F.B. who made this post.

I have zero respect for any fool on the other side of this issue.-- No tolerance for differing opinions? That's about as un-American as it gets, Pinko. Tell you what, Commie, why not take that big boat somewhere you'll fit in-- like Cuba.

It would not surprise me to see others who are PO'd about this issue become disrespectful of the lake, those who live there, and smaller boats. -- It won't surprise me either, because that's the mindset of the cruiser crowd. The only thing surprising is that you're pretending that you'd not be part of it, when in realiy we all know that you'll be leading the pack.

All that is accomplished with this kind of legislation is the angering of a lot of good citizens-- What about the citizens who are angered by the cruisers? I guess they don't qualify as good, because they don't se things your way. Typical attitude.

and further restriction of freedom in this country.-- Freedom isn't free, and operating a boat is not a right, it's a priviledge. Having a driver's license is a similar restriction; have you protested at the DMV lately?
