Go to http://www.meade.com/

They are the best for the money (in my humble opinion). There are many knock offs that you can find at stores (wal-mart etc.) but there is a large difference in quality from what I have seen.

The ones with the auto-tracker are the way to go. You should be able ot find one that you like for $500.00 or less. There are a lot to choose from and they are all quite different. This web site can help you narrow doewn your search. You can then find a local store that carries them.

Oh yah, don't forget . . . you might want to think about one that you can hook your camera up to and take pictures (not all of them allow you to do this).
