The silent majority did not show up to the voting polls yesterday or maybe the silent majority that we all keep hearing so much about does not exist. I have heard repeatedly that the reason that the boat ban bill passed was because the majority of the people on and around the lakes affected strongly supported it. If that was the case, I would have thought that Senator Dial would have been overwhelmingly re-elected. I suppose the people who were against the boat ban bill finally got their say, with the right to NOT re-elect him as their senator.
