I'm glad I'm all of these and if I ever change, bury me.

We made a " flying jenny " out of a piece of rough sawmill board, a stump and a bolt. We played " jumpboard " with a rough sawmill board layed over a log and sent each other flying 20' in the air. Remember the old swimming hole with the rope swing that let you swing out over the water? You were never late for meals because if you were you ate chicken feet and the last piece on the plate was always left for the stranger that might show up hungry. If you reached for the last piece on the plate you got a mouthfull of the back of Mamas hand. Also, the field hands ate first. If you didn't work in the fields you served the ones who did. If you did something bad you were punished right then so the act and the punishment were fresh in your mind.
