I - and quite a few of my friends - used Scott Duncan 205-275-8401

Ivan built his house on a very steep hillside.  Scott excavated it, put loads of riprap where they needed to be to 'push out' and reinforce the area that the house would be built on... so yeah, the front door is actually the main level of the house and the 'basement' (full size) is actually below ground in front but above ground on the lake side.  There is an apartment in the lakeside of the basement. Why waste a beautiful view?

Call Scott.  Good man.
