As he is pardoning the turkey ... he talks about how there are three other turkeys that will be saved. So he jokes that he has clearly saved or created 4 turkeys this thanksgiving.

I know it was a joke ... but I am sure the close to 7 million unemployed this thanksgiving are not laughing. Sure he can joke how his policies have failed to create jobs and get a laugh out of the media ... but it is cruel and insensitive to joke about when people are struggling.

It is just another example of the things he does without thinking ... special olympics joke, Ft Hood incident and giving a shout out to an old professor laughing and smiling when people had just been shot and killed by someone he had on his homeland security team.

I guess this also should not have come as a surprise.
