It is making me sick ....

Read the story of what happened to Argentina and you see we are headed in the same direction. Total collapse of the economy because of bigger and bigger government, as well as larger and larger social programs that could not be funded. They kept printing money which eventually led to a collapse of their currency and hyper inflation. At its worst they had 3000% inflation and then piled on more and more taxes. In 1989 the country began to fail. This continued until 2004 and is just now recovering. Their people lost everything ... savings, pensions, medical care, their equivalent of social security.

All the programs were passed based on making the "rich" pay. But they ran out of rich and as their was no growth and reinvestment, even the "rich" were destroyed.

It is a good read and we are heading in the same direction.
