Sen Blanche Lincoln (D) of Arkansas is the Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee.  She has reminded voters, in her (losing) race to keep her seat that she has, “…delivered for the state through her perch on the Agriculture Committee.”

The very next question asked of Sen Lincoln should be, “And, who pays for that pork?”

Do the people of, say Maine, or California, or Alaska… or ALABAMA… pay for that pork?  Should we ask Sen Shelby (R) who pays for the pork that he reminds us he brings to Alabama?  Do the people of Arkansas pay for that?  This “bring home the bacon” mentality of our Washington elite… uh, elect… plays on the myopia of a civics challenged set of voters. 

So, here’s the bottom line:  THERE IS NO FREE PORK BROUGHT HOME BY YOUR CONGRESSMAN!
