Ahhh ... but that is where you are wrong, very wrong.

But answer my question ... why is a union necessary to "bargain" for healthcare and pension benefits? They have enjoyed better than average and I would bet better than why you get, for many years. The reduction was to bring them close to the private sector. The private sector does not get to negotiate what their benefits are ... they are what the company provides ... and if we don't like it we work somewhere else.

It is self correcting since if the benefits are poor, they can not attract talent. So what is their to negotiate?

Why all the fuss?
