Only if you voted for McCain. It is a way of "spreading the wealth" without having it taxed in. Actually the CEO of Starbucks is a die hard liberal. Just look at his stock price. in 2007 was trading around $40, in October it hit a low of $9 and is now trading $12-$13.

I guess all those wealthy americans that paid $3 for a cup of coffee are saving for the new taxes they will have to pay. Unfortunately that die hard liberal is now having to close stores and put people out of work. I hope the higher taxes on the wealthy offset the lost taxes from people losing jobs and businesses making less money and paying less taxes.

We will soon find out. My bet is BO will increase taxes on businesses and those making over $120m (the latest number) and you will see federal revenues go down. Just like they have in the past.

CNBC has a guy on this morning that said the rapid sell off in the stock market directly correlated to it looking like a BO victory. So wall street was pricing in slower growth and lower corporate earnings due to higher taxes.

Such a great time to tax businesses and individuals more as the economy slows after several years of great growth under republicans. Things did not slow until dems took over congress.

I am buying calls on oil stocks that are way down. OPEC just cut production 2 million barrels a day, with BO energy policy I see oil going to $200 a barrel over the next 3 years. He wants that, it means higher tax revenues.
