Difference is Obama is (unfortunately) our leader and he needs to lead to give others the confidence. That is what Reagan did to pull the country out of the mess Carter left. Just recently Benankie (sp) was questioned and he said there is a high probability we will be coming out of the recession before year end. The market took off and went up 300 points. The next day Obama spoke and it was all gloom and doom and gave it all back.

My take is Obama doesn't care that he is making things worse as long as he gets the agenda he wants ... no matter if it is good for the country or not. He certainly does not seem like he wants to listen to what might get things moving first and then turn us to socialism. I think he looks at it that he will get what he wants as quickly in his term as possible. Strike when he can get the support no matter what the result. Then if the economy eventually turns he will say he was the savior even if we could have been out of this sooner and did not have to make it worse. If it doesn't work he will blame Bush and the republicans as he keeps doing, even though he has all the power. The sad thing is, it may be too late by the end of his term.

He needs to take responsibility for his own actions.
