Just heard that the deal for Saturn with Penske had fallen through and GM was going to discontinue production of the Saturn model. This is not good news for Center Hill, Tn., and the many Saturn employees.

I talked recently with a retiree from Delphi and he told me that his insurance had been terminated by Delphi and his insurance was costing him app. $1,500 per month (he's less than 65). He had a precondition of heart surgery. He also did not know how much his retirement would be from the federal agency who took over Delphi's pension system. Not a good situation with GM's former employees.
