average rainfall for APC basins for MTD October is 2.0 inches.

So far in October, we
have received : Coosa 1.9”, Tallapoosa 1.7”, Warrior 3.1”
This results in rainfall amounts of 112% of
basins-wide average for MTD October.

The 5-day forecast
indicates no rainfall is expected across our basins.

The near term 6-10 day
forecast indicates higher probabilities of wetter than normal conditions
and the 8-14 day forecast indicates higher probabilities of wetter than
normal conditions, as well.
·
The one month and
three month forecasts from the National Weather Service indicates equal chances
of below normal, normal, and above normal precipitation for our basins
