This is a proposed new subdivision in Elkahatchee Creek. I live part-time there in the Raintree subdivision since 1988. I am not against development but this thing is massive for such a narrow creek. A lot of the Wind Creek park tourists use the creek on weekends as it is a great place to tube and wakeboard rather than out on the main channel. The creek will become a nightmare on weekends with all these houses and condos planned (99 waterfront lots). Forget about fishing in the quiet areas as these will not exist anymore. The development is from the Raintree subdivision all the way to near the Pineywoods boatramp.
Below I have enclosed a pic of the subdivision layout. I can email the 14 pages of the 120 page city planning commission agenda; the rest is about the Heritage. Email me at warren72955@netzero.com if you are interested in more details.
