A deck collapsed in Pace's Point and injured 15 people, 6 of whom are in critical condition.  Be interesting to know about the construction of that deck.  Rental house or owner?  Can you imagine the liability?  

Then last Saturday night, a young man lost his life on By-Water Rd when the truck he was riding in left the road and hit a tree.  Too much speed?  Was alcohol involved?  Or was the driver trying to dodge pot holes?  By-Water is in the Coose 20 corridor and the roads out here are worse than they have been in the 15 years I've lived here.  Just full of potholes and to my knowledge, they haven't even been out with their usual (useless) gravel/tar mixture to fill them in.  

Lots of people complaining about the total lack of manners out on the water. I don't know if this is just reflective of our socity right now, or if it is people feel anonimous out on the water.
