If it was Wednesday afternoon, then I am the guilty party. I was trying out a new Remington 1911, .45 ACP. I hope it did not upset or bother you. As a full timer, I try to only burn or shoot during the week. (Please don't worry since I only shoot in a direction away from the Lake and with a good backstop.)

Where are you located compared to my place?

I was firing some mild handloads, and I guess the water must amplify the sound if it was like a Cannon. LOL
