it is lardbutts that are causing all of the wakes. if you put too many lardbutts in a boat that is underpowered, then they will cause loud noise, and big wakes.

i once took a boat load of fat ladies to the rock. they caused a giant wake and a lot of noise when people started making fat jokes and laughing.

and guess what? the water patrol did not chech to see if i was over the weight limit for the boat, which i was double. they did not check to see if i was over powered, which i was by 20%.

the just checked for life jackets and fire ex.

that is problably what will happen with the new length and speed/length regulations. they will not be enforced.
