Personally , I like to work things out for myself . I like to put in the time on the hunt to find where the fish are in my area . I like to use lures that I have come to have confidence in because they produce consistently for me . If I just use something because somebody told me to use it ,and somebody told me how to use it , and somebody told me where to use it , I just don't feel much sense of accomplishment in my successes . It more or less just becomes a cheap thrill at that point . Cheap thrills are fine for what they are but they aren't condusive to cultivating passion for a hobby that becomes a part of ones way of life throughout ones life . I don't fish in order to alleviate boredom temporarily with some activity that is just another in along list of dabbled in activites . I 'm just speaking for myself personally and am not trying to tell any others what to believe or think or do. I don't mean to belittle or offend anyone , but if you want to be areally good angler work things out for yourself . If mediocrity is good enough then just seek consensus of the majority and I guarantee you that is what you will achieve . I might be done here . Eat more spots .
