Yes, I have noticed the same. I was out there on the thanksgiving holiday and caught more fish in the deeper river channel areas. I suppose the warmer temps drove them back deeper. I used shad colored spoons dropped over them with my lowrance where I saw bait fish at 50-60 feet.  Caught mix of spots and crappie. I caught a few at sunset in the shallows around the entrance of creeks with shad swim baits. Water temp was 68. Weather needs to stabilize and it will improve the catch.
