I like the fact that there are no more important issues in this country than the college football playoffs? Can I ask why they feels it's necessary to involve government in college football playoffs?
I guess it stands next to the following little piece of history:
On this very day (Tuesday, April 29, 2008 ) your US House will vote to express its "sense" that "there should be established a National Watermelon Month." Later this afternoon, the people's House will move to consider whether to similarly express themselves over "National Funeral Director and Mortician Recognition Day." And then, in a separate bill, it will weigh in on setting aside a day of recognition for the "nation's letter carriers".
We don't need to worry about terrorism, economic crises, or wall street.
By the way, congress spent nearly 2 weeks debating "National Watermelon Month" - - very important legislation. How much $ did the tax payer spend on hotels, cars, meals, etc. for them to debate this very important peice of legislation? No waste in the congress at all!
