In Vanity Fair magazine this month on the history of the current financial meltdown. I know that the conservatives here probably wouldn't be caught dead reading such a left leaning magazine, and especially not one written by a Harvard professor, but maybe you could keep it in a plain brown wrapper and no one need ever know.
Maybe you could say you bought it because of it's cover -- the gorgeous Kate Winslet wearing nothing but a white overcoat and gold heels.
