I have used the generic version of Demon insecticide called Cyper TC.  Gallon cost about $50 on Amazon, and you only mix 2 oz/gallon of water.  I spray about three times a year all of the outside of the house and boathouse.  This is about the only thing I’ve found that kills spiders...not all, but most.
