First of all, much of your post is absolutely correct. However, you now see how much it sucks to be the victim of a generalization. My opinion does not encompass all property owners. I have several friends with lake property and after law school I plan to have a piece of heaven myself. However, there ARE tons of lake-livers that I do despise. Regardless of how hard you worked or how much you sacrificed to get it, neither money nor property make you better than anyone else out there on that water. Far too often, that tends to be the view of the "HAVE"s. Right now i am in between the have's and the have not's and, therefore, can see both sides. From what I can see, the real OFFENSE that weekenders make is showing up at all. The crowdedness at the lake ticks the property owners off. What they forget is, they are living on OUR lake,AND we are boating on THEIRS. The lake is public. That being said, alot of people could stand to be more respectful. . .regardless of where they own property.
