So instead of being fired the guy who committed a grossly negligent or intentional act is simply reassigned. As I said, it is nearly impossible to fire someone from the government. And of course Hawaii's unfunded pension liability is currently estimated at $35 billion, the 44th worst liability on a per capita basis and doesn't even include the $11 billion in unfunded health benefits to retirees. And their state employee pay averages around $60K per year and their county and local pay is the highest in the country. I know, it's all Trump's fault that this guy pushed the wrong button.......
