it was actually more around windows with a few eaves and then the decking railings ..  .. if I had to do over would not have house made of cedar!  It's just nature of the beast I think .. also the builder failed to put moisture barrier which we have now added to the towers of the house. Aggravating...but we bought the house 15 years after it was built. it does need gutters though ..so good point! Thats next!
