Glad to see that you're thinking about joining our happy crew-- lake life is all that it's cracked up to be. We have a place in Perue Creek. As everyone else said, the spring brings debris everywhere, but it is less on our end of the lake-- further from the main river channel. I can see the bottom of the lake- 8 to 10 feet- in early spring, but as the water warms and algae grows, it gets a bit cloudier. Great fishing--easy for kids to catch off the dock. Not to mention the great folks...good luck and hope to see you out there next spring!
