I know it's confusing. Alabama Power is still using the Martin Datum elevation, so 490.0 feet is full pool and 489.5 makes us down 6 inches. If they were using MSL for elevation, the levels would be 491.0 and 490.5 respectively. Lake Martin.com is showing the lake level on its chart as MSL when in fact the numbers are Martin Datum.
